The joys of getting older is that younger generations make up slang terms that you hear and go, “What does that mean?”.

So, if you’re hearing or seeing things about “BORG” let’s talk about what it is and why everyone is talking about it.

What is BORG?

BORG stands for – Black-out Rage Gallon. It is a homemade cocktail popular among college students and has recently gone viral on social media.

How do you make BORG?

BORG is traditionally made using a gallon of water, vodka, and some sort of flavor enhancer such as Mio, Kool-Aid or Crystal Light.

You simply pour out about 1/5 of the gallon of water, add a full bottle of vodka inside and then add in as much of the flavor enhancer you want to taste.

You then just mix it up and drink it.

Sounds easy enough, right?

There’s obviously all sorts of combinations you can do here. Some people are using flavored juices instead of water and then adding in the vodka or whatever your chosen alcohol is.

I mean, I’ll be honest, the water one just sounds like really watered-down Vodka to me but to each their own.

Oh and in case anyone is wondering, this is for adults 21 years of age and older!

You can watch the full video of making of the BORG here.
