Pour the milk into the sandwich size bag.
Add the vanilla and the sugar to the milk.
Squeeze as much air as you can out of the baggie, and then seal it shut.
Fill a gallon sized zip bag about 3/4 of the way with ice.
Pour the salt on top of the ice, and shake it a bit to disperse the salt.
Put the sealed sandwich bag of milk into the gallon bag of ice.
Gently work the smaller down into the middle of the larger bag.
Seal the gallon sized bag.
Shake or roll the bag on a flat surface for 5 to 7 minutes.
When the time is up, gently take the sandwich baggie out of the gallon bag. Open up the sandwich bag, and you will have vanilla ice cream!!!!
