Ingredients

  • 4 Frozen Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 Cup Salsa
  • 1 Packet Taco Seasoning

Instructions

  • Place all the ingredients in your Instant Pot
  • Place the lid on
  • Cook on manual pressure for 15 minutes
  • Let it release steam naturally
  • Cut or shred the chicken right in the pot

Notes

Add a can of rinsed black beans of you desire.
You can freeze this cooked chicken for use later.
Use this chicken in tacos, enchiladas, fajitas, over rice, or however your heart desires. It is good in so many ways.
You can use FRESH chicken breast. Just cut the cooking time to 10 minutes.
If you don't have taco seasoning, you can use "loose" seasonings: cumen, chili, paprika, a bit of salt -- or whatever sounds tasty.
