Prepare your cookie sheet by placing wax paper on the top of it. It should be large enough so apples do not touch.
Over medium heat place a large sauce pan, then add milk.
Remove caramels from packaging and place into milk, stir frequently (do not allow to boil).
Remove stems from apples, wash, rinse, and pat dry.
Place wood stick in top of apples where the stem should be.
Hold on to wood stick and dip apple into warm caramel, use a large tablespoon to help evenly coat warm caramel over apple.
Remove and place apple on wax paper with the wood stick pointing upward.
Pour your favorite granola over caramel apples, use a clean spoon or use your hands to press granola all around apple until evenly coated.
Place cookie sheet with wax paper and apples inside of the refrigerator so caramel can set.
After about 20 minutes you can remove the apples from the fridge and enjoy!
