Mr. Cranberry Cocktail

No holiday party is complete without a selection of drinks to keep your guests happy, but sometimes it's hard to find a good balance between overly-fruity (some might say "girly") cocktails and, well, beer. But if you want something that's fancy enough for a party but not too sweet - and not too expensive that you'd rather suffer through an endless amount of cheap, watery beer in the name of surviving an encounter with your in-laws - then you should probably give this Mr. Cranberry Cocktail a try. Just make sure you call him "mister"...he gets annoyed when you don't.

  • 3 ounces apricot juice
  • 2 ounces Deep Eddy Cranberry vodka
  • 2 ounces cranberry juice
  • 1/2- ounce simple syrup see our pro-tip below!
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • Using a tube of baker's white frosting, dot the inside of a martini glass to create the effect of falling snow.
  • Place the glass in the freezer for 12 minutes.
  • In a martini shaker, add apricot juice, cranberry vodka, cranberry juice and simple syrup. Add ice cubes and shake vigorously.
  • Strain into the frosted martini glass.
  • Serve and enjoy!
  • Pro-tip: To make simple syrup, combine equal parts sugar and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and stir until the sugar is dissolved, then let it cool before using it in this and all sorts of other drinks!
