Cheeseburger Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 24 large white or brown mushroom caps stemmed
  • ¾ pound ground beef
  • 2 Tablespoons powdered onion
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ⅓ to ½ cup grated cheddar cheese
  • cream cheese optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 450°
  • Combine beef, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce until well blended, then form into 24 quarter sized ‘patties.’ (Think sliders, but smaller)
  • Cook patties in a medium skillet over high heat until browned on each side.
  • Butter (or coconut oil) a cookie sheet and place the mushroom caps evenly spaced. Layer each with one of the patties and your choice of optional toppings. Finish with grated cheddar cheese.
  • Bake for approximately 10 minutes, or until cheese is melty and mushrooms are slightly darker on the sides. Transfer to a serving plate and enjoy!
