Cheeseburger Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients
  

  • 24 large white or brown mushroom caps stemmed
  • ¾ pound ground beef
  • 2 Tablespoons powdered onion
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ⅓ to ½ cup grated cheddar cheese
  • cream cheese optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 450°
  2. Combine beef, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce until well blended, then form into 24 quarter sized ‘patties.’ (Think sliders, but smaller)
  3. Cook patties in a medium skillet over high heat until browned on each side.
  4. Butter (or coconut oil) a cookie sheet and place the mushroom caps evenly spaced. Layer each with one of the patties and your choice of optional toppings. Finish with grated cheddar cheese.
  5. Bake for approximately 10 minutes, or until cheese is melty and mushrooms are slightly darker on the sides. Transfer to a serving plate and enjoy!
