Bloody Cupcakes

Having a little mini-watch party for my favorite zombie show inspired these gory Bloody Cupcakes, and, dude, are they awesome!

Ingredients Method

Ingredients
  

  • 6 cupcakes made from your favorite recipe
  • 1 can of your favorite white frosting
  • ½ cup corn syrup
  • 10-20 drops red GEL food coloring

Method
 

  1. Make the fake blood by combining the corn syrup and food coloring into a bowl and stirring until the color is consistent throughout.
  2. Using a decorating tip, make a hole in the top of each cupcake, saving the remnants from each hole for use filling the hole in a moment.
  3. Place 1 tspn of the fake blood in each cupcake hole.
  4. Replace the top of each cupcake hole.
  5. Using your largest star tip and a piping bag, frost the cupcakes in a circular fashion.
  6. Drizzle each cupcake with ample amounts of fake blood.
  7. Enjoy!
