Citrus Fresh Body Butter

Ingredients

  • ½ cup shea butter
  • ½ cup mango butter
  • ½ cup coconut oil
  • 1 cup almond or olive oil
  • 20-30 drops of Citrus Fresh Essential Oil

Instructions

  • In a double broiler (or a glass bowl over a hot pot of water), heat all ingredients except for the essential oils, stirring until melted.
  • Remove from heat and stir in essential oils.
  • Let cool for 10 minutes, then refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • Remove from refrigerator and blend with a hand mixer until fluffy.
  • Store in a mason jar or other glass jar with a lid a room temperature.

Notes

For a more relaxing version try using lavender essential oil instead of citrus fresh. Or if you need a midday pick-me-up try using peppermint. In fact, play around with all of your essential oils until you find just the right body butter for you. Enjoy!
