Homemade Waffle Mix

Don't dread breakfast...make it easy with this homemade waffle mix!
Course: Breakfast Is The Most Important Meal Of The Day

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Cups Flour use coconut flour to make gluten free
  • 2 Tablespoons Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • Note: optional 2 Tablespoons Soy Flour to make Egg Free

Method
 

How To Make Homemade Waffle Mix:
  1. In a large bowl combine the ingredients with a whisk. Store in an air tight container.
How To Use Homemade Waffle Mix:
  1. Add one cup of water and one cup of milk to a bowl. Add in 2 tablespoons of oil and 1 tablespoon of vanilla. If you didn't use the Soy Flour add in 2 eggs. Whisk.
  2. Mix the dry ingredients (your mix) with the wet ingredients. Whisk but leave slightly clumpy.
  3. Spoon batter into waffle iron of choice and follow it's instructions.
  4. Top with powdered sugar and blueberries once fully cooked.
  5. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

This same exact recipe can be used to make pancakes or be used as a delicious batter for things like corn dogs, etc. For a thicker consistency, mix the wet ingredients in slowly until desired consistency is reached.
