Ingredients
Method
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a large bowl, combine all dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon).
- In a medium bowl, beat one egg, then combine all wet ingredients (heavy whipping cream, greek yogurt, melted butter, vinegar, vanilla extract).
- Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until evenly distributed.
- Pour batter into a piping bag, then pipe into 12-count mini donut pan (non-stick) until each donut is halfway filled.
- Bake for approximately 10 minutes.
- While that is baking, combine all glaze ingredients (powdered sugar, hot water, cocoa powder, cinnamon, cayenne). Stir well and set aside.
- Once donuts have cooled at least five minutes, drizzle with the glaze. Top with pecan halves and raw sugar, then serve. Enjoy!
Notes
The small amount of cayenne won't change the flavor of the glaze, but it adds just a hint of heat with each bite. It gives these donuts a little something extra that people won't be expecting. That being said, if your family or friends are sensitive to heat you should remove the cayenne. These donuts will still be delicious, they just won't have that extra hint of heat. Enjoy!
