Ingredients

  • 1 Package of Jennie-O Lean Ground Turkey Meat
  • 6 Cans of Black Beans
  • 3 Cans of Garbanzo Beans
  • 3 Cans of White Beans
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper chopped
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper chopped
  • 1 Medium Onion chopped
  • 1 Packet of McCormick Mild Chili Seasoning
  • 1 Tablespoon of Garlic Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon of Shredded Cheese for topping
  • 1 Avocado chopped (for topping)
  • Sour Cream optional, for topping

Instructions

  • Brown the ground turkey in a large skillet. Drain and place into slow cooker.
  • Combine cooked ground turkey, all of the beans, and seasoning to the slow cooker. Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6-8 hours. Note: If the chili is too thick, you can add about 8 ounces of water.
  • The last hour or so add your chopped vegetables and allow to cook the remaining hour.
  • Serve in individual bowls (we like using bread bowls). Top with freshly chopped avocado, shredded cheese, and a dash of sour cream for an additional kick in flavor!
