Buffalo Wild Wings put two kinds of garlic on its Halloween wings and recruited Sarah Michelle Gellar to help promote them. If you’re going to call something Vampire Hunter Wings, bringing in the star of Buffy is a pretty good place to start.

The chain’s Fright Feast menu launched September 30 and runs through November 9, 2026, at participating U.S. sports bars and Buffalo Wild Wings GO locations. Menu items vary by location, so check your restaurant before making plans around a specific item.

What’s on the Halloween menu?

The Vampire Hunter Wings get a coating of Black Garlic Glaze, followed by a spicy garlic drizzle. That second layer is the reason for the double-garlic name.

There are also Black Garlic Glaze Cheese Curds, which pair white cheddar curds with the new glaze.

The Vampirita is a tequila cocktail with triple sec, black cherry, lime sour and fresh lime. It comes with a black salt rim and a bat trinket. The bat is doing a lot of the Halloween decorating here, and that feels entirely appropriate.

Sarah Michelle Gellar is the joke, and it works

Buffalo Wild Wings teamed up with Gellar for the campaign’s digital spot, leaning directly into the garlic-versus-vampires joke. The brand even says that with all the garlic on the menu, there was “really only one person” who could help bring it to life.

It is an extremely obvious casting choice, which is exactly why it works.

You have through November 9

The Fright Feast menu is scheduled to run through Monday, November 9, at participating locations. Availability can vary, so check your nearest BWW before making a special trip for a specific item.
