You Can Crochet A Pumpkin Turtle And Now I’m Ready For Fall

You can make your own amigurumi turtle, and it has the CUTEST pumpkin shell EVER!

Is it obvious that I’m ready for all things fall? It is just impossible to quit looking at Halloween and fall decorations on Etsy! For real, though; can you really blame me?

Forget Christmas, fall is the most magical time of the year! All the leaves start to change colors, the temperature drops to a comfortable level, and it’s time to bring out all the pumpkin decorations!

And, the cutest pumpkins I’ve seen are the shells on these amigurumi little dolls!! Gah! Just look at them!

PixieMarieCreates, on Etsy, sells the PDF printable directions for this cute little guy that would be PERFECT for any fall centerpiece or decor!

For $5.99, you get the crochet patterns for TWO sizes of these cute little guys (girls?). According to the directions, they are easy to make. They obviously don’t know my skill level in crochet. Ha!

Supplies needed:
● Worsted weight yarn in orange, green, and brown
● H hook (5 mm)
● 10 mm safety eyes for large turtle or 8mm safety eyes for small turtle
● Scissors
● Tapestry Needle
● Polyester Fiberfill
● Embroidery thread and needle

Make sure you note that you are purchasing a crochet pattern, and NOT a completed amigurumi doll. Although it’s hella cute, you are making your own, here.

Good news for people that are crochet-inept, like ME! This shop will ALSO sell you completed turtle amigurumis. All you have to do is message PixieMarieCreates, and let her know you are interested in a completed animal, and she will oblige.

Here, just take all my money now. I need one in each size, please!

While you are looking at all the fall decorations, make sure you check out this Oogie Boogie Wreath. I can’t believe my eyes! Nice work, bone daddy.
