Meghan Markle Is ‘Upset and Overwhelmed’ By Portrayal on ‘South Park’ Episode
If you’re a fan of South Park you know that nobody is safe when it comes to being a subject of interest to the creators on the show.
Well, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry seem to be the latest couple that have been featured on the show and according to reports, Meghan isn’t handling it too well…
South Park’s newest episode aired on Wednesday night titled “The Worldwide Privacy Tour” and while the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were not directly named in the episode, everyone knows the couple in the parody were clearly Meghan and Harry.
In the parody, the young royal couple beg for privacy while drawing attention to themselves in a spoof-like way.
There’s even a part where they clearly make fun of Prince Harry’s book…
The episode then goes on to make fun of them wanting privacy which causes them to go on a privacy tour…
While fans of the series found this episode funny, Meghan and Harry did not.
A source told The Spectator that Meghan has been “upset and overwhelmed” by the episode’s release and is “annoyed by South Park but refuses to watch it all.”
Royal commentator Neil Sean said that there could be legal ramifications due to the things portrayed in this week’s episode.
“Their legal team are casting an eye over the episode to see what is wrong, and what could be turned into something more sinister. This appears to be their course of action rather than laughing it off, enjoying the moment and showing the world that they get the joke,” However, he did note that the creators of “South Park” have yet to receive anything.
