‘Never Have I Ever’ Is Netflix’s Newest Teen Drama Everyone Is Talking About
There is a new show coming to Netflix on Monday, April 27th, and just about EVERYONE on social media is talking about it!
Never Have I Ever follows an Indian-American High School Teen, who just wants to fit in.
She wants to go from social outcast, to one of the Plastics — oops, wrong show — one of the popular kids.
Devi, the main character, is a 15 year old who just finished the 9th grade. She wants to make her 10th grade year, EPIC. Devi wants sophomore year to be one she can remember and cherish, and not one she would rather forget.
But, we ALL know how high school can be! She will have some awesome memorable moments, and some moments where she will want to bury her head in the sand.
That’s just the way of life, isn’t it?!?
This YA show will be sure to hit very close to home for both high school students, AND for their parents — who have been there, done that.
It may also shed some light on what your high schooler is going through. *Wink*
As you can probably guess, simply from the trailer, this show is created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher.
Mindy Kaling has a way of taking quirky situations, and filtering them through life’s lens, to come up with comedy shows that are scary accurate, and so good!
