You know it’s about to be the Holiday Season when the Elf on the Shelf starts weaving his way into our lives once again.
Netflix is about to be inundated with all things Elf on the Shelf. What do I mean?
Y’all — the kids are about to go INSANE — there is going to be an Elf on the Shelf series.
Not only is the streaming giant getting this Elf on the Shelf series, they have plans to come out with a MOVIE and TV specials — to include both animated and live-action — that are going to include ALL of the Elf on the Shelf family.
That includes Elf Pets, Elf Mates, and that sneaky little guy the Elf on the Shelf himself.
It is going to be like a breath of fresh air to get some new holiday programming aimed at families — especially preschoolers.
The Elf on the Shelf began as a rhyming children’s book, published in 2005 called The Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Tradition. Created by Carol Aebersold and her daughters Chanda Bell and Christa Pitts, the story told of exactly how Santa Claus knows who’s naughty and who’s is nice: elves who visit children’s homes from Thanksgiving to Christmas Eve and report back to the North Pole.Yahoo Entertainment
