Facebook probably owes you money and you don’t even know it…

Ugh, it seems there is always something happening with Facebook.

Tracking, selling, choosing what we see and don’t see, selling us… it’s like a drug in the way it pulls you in right?

I try to take as many breaks as I can from social media, but the thing is… you kind of need it if you have your own business because that is the first place people go to look at reviews and recommendations.

It’s like I try to get away, but work pulls me back in.

Now it looks like there is a class action settlement happening due to a lawsuit that says that Facebook tracked our activities on other websites with the use of the Facebook “like” button.

If you were using Facebook between April 22nd, 2010, and September 26th, 2011, and visited websites that used a Facebook “Like” button, you may be eligible for a portion of the cash from the settlement.

The lawsuit alleges that Facebook tracked users browsing history unlawfully when they were not even logged into the website!

I mean… are we really surprised?

Facebook isn’t admitting that it did anything wrong, however, it did agree to pay out $90 million to get the allegations squashed and out of its hair.

You may have received a notice in the mail or email that has a specific Notice ID and Confirmation code that you will need to submit a claim here by September 22nd, 2022.

If you didn’t get the snail mail or email, then you could still be eligible, you’ll just need to submit a claim here without the Notice ID or Confirmation Code… it’s worth a try, right?
