HBO Just Announced A ‘Game of Thrones’ Prequel
I AM FREAKING OUT. HBO Just Announced A ‘Game of Thrones‘ Prequel and it is game on for a new series!
The official Game of Thrones Facebook Page just posted saying:
House Of The Dragon, a Game of Thrones prequel is coming to HBO.
The series is co-created by George RR Martin and Ryan Condal. Miguel Sapochnik will partner with Condal as showrunner and will direct the pilot and additional episodes. Condal will be writing the series.”
You guys!! This is HUGE!
The thing is, a GOT prequel has been in the works for some time but the news just broke that the original series starring Naomi Watts was cancelled.
But then, then this new series – House of The Dragon was announced and I am stoked.
The best part is, George RR Martin help co-create it and if you didn’t know, he is amazing and the original brilliant mind behind The Game of Thrones Books that the series was based on.
No word on when this is coming but just like Jon Snow would say… Winter is coming but in this case, we don’t know what season is coming! HA.
