The NFL Games Are Coming To Netflix This Christmas. Here’s Everything You Need To Know.
It looks like Santa came early at Netflix’s headquarters.
Netflix has officially announced that in order to watch some of the NFL’s live games for their upcoming season, you’ll have to a subscription with Netflix.
According to a recent news release from the streaming giant, Netflix will be the global home for this year’s live NFL Christmas games.
So if you’re a Baltimore Ravens, Steelers, Kansas City Chiefs or Texans fan, you’ll have to press the Netflix button on your remote to watch your team play on Christmas day.
But this year isn’t the only year football fans will have to tune into Netflix to watch football, because according to the streaming company, Netflix has struck a three-season deal in the end zone.
To make a long story short, Netflix will be home to all of the NFL’s live football games that land on Christmas day for 2024, 2025, and 2026!
So if you didn’t have a reason to have a Netflix subscription before, maybe you do now.
“Last year, we decided to take a big bet on live — tapping into massive fandoms across comedy, reality TV, sports, and more,” said Netflix’s Chief Content Officer, Bela Bajaria. “There are no live annual events, sports or otherwise, that compare with the audiences NFL football attracts. We’re so excited that the NFL’s Christmas Day games will be only on Netflix.”
