The ruffles are coming back. Simply Shabby Chic returns to Target on October 11, 2026, bringing floral bedding, soft pinks and blues, and the possibility that one new pillow turns into an entire bedroom redo.
There’s pink Christmas decor coming, too. You’ll have to wait a little longer for that part, because Target is spreading the collection across three October launches.
When does Simply Shabby Chic return to Target?
Target’s current collection page lists these dates:
- Sunday, October 11: new bedding
- Sunday, October 18: holiday bedding
- Sunday, October 25: holiday decor
Those are the collection launch dates. Check the individual product page for your size, color and local availability before making a store trip. The announcement says the fall bedding is coming to most Target stores and Target.com.
The floral bedding and ruffles are very much back
Rachel Ashwell’s Target line first launched in 2004. Now it’s returning through a new, exclusive multi-year partnership, according to Target’s announcement.
The fall assortment includes comforters, quilts, duvet covers, sheets, shams, decorative pillows and throws. Think faded-looking florals, eyelet details, ruffled edges and layers of pink, blue and white. It’s a look that leaves plenty of room for the quilt you already own.
For a smaller change, a ruffled pillow or a pair of shams can bring in the style without replacing every layer. If you want the full floral bed, check what’s included in the set before adding matching pieces separately.
For example, the blue-and-pink floral comforter set is listed at $70 for Twin/Twin XL, with a comforter and one sham. Its cotton-percale exterior has polyester filling. The Twin/Twin XL ruffle sheet set is a separate $40 purchase and includes a flat sheet, fitted sheet and one pillowcase.
What does the collection cost?
Target says most pieces in the new collection are under $50. Larger bedding pieces cost more, so it’s worth checking the price for your actual bed size.
At the time of writing, Target lists the ruffle sheet sets at $40–$70 across sizes. The 20-by-14-inch ruffle lumbar pillow is $30.
A $30 pillow is an easier little bedroom refresh than a whole new bedding set. The ruffles do not require a matching-cart commitment.
Pink Christmas gets its own launch
The holiday bedding arrives October 18. The holiday flannel sheets come in candy cane, pink stripe and winter-scene designs. Target currently lists the Full candy cane set at $45; that size includes a flat sheet, fitted sheet and two pillowcases.
Then the holiday decor collection follows October 25. One of the preview pieces is an 18-inch pink bottle-brush wreath with colorful ornaments, listed at $25. It’s unlit and intended for indoor use, so it’s a wall-or-door accent without a plug to hide.
You can browse the Simply Shabby Chic preview at Target now. Prices can change, and a preview listing is not a promise that an item is available to buy before its launch.
If the pink holiday pieces are what caught your eye, keep October 25 on your calendar. The October 11 bedding launch is only the first round.
