Where are all my fellow Handmaid’s Tale fanatics at? Let’s all grab hands, and let out a little cry of disappointment. This is definitely not a Praise Be moment.
It was just announced that The Handmaid’s Tale, Season 4, has been pushed back to 2021.
Grrrr, coronavirus! I’m really starting to not like you, and all that you stand for. I’m just ready for 2021 to get here, and we can be done with all this mess.
No, there is no date set for the premiere of The Handmaid’s Tale. They haven’t even wrapped filming — in fact they had barely begun filming.
They started filming in Canada in March, and then the coronavirus hit. They went on an initial 2-week hiatus, which has turned into a 3-month nightmare.

Hulu made the big announcement on Monday, that the best show on television — prove me wrong — The Handmaid’s Tale, has been “pushed back indefinitely.”
That is simply NOT the news we wanted to hear. (SPOILERS AHEAD) When we left June, in Season 3, she had been shot, the other handmaids were carrying her away, and the plane of children had made it safely to Canada.
With all the children being abducted — abducted for a second time? — and taken to Canada, the compost is really about to hit the fan.
I mean, if Gilead caused such a ruckus over ONE child — Nicole — being taken, what is going to happen when they find out more than 100 children have been taken out of the country?
It’s going to be OBVIOUS to EVERYONE that June’s hands were all over this situation, so what is going to happen to her?
Not to mention — what is going on with NICK?!? How, What, Why?!?
GAH!! These are all things we have been anxiously waiting to find out — only to be told we have to wait, like, another YEAR!
May the Lord Open — up filming again on The Handmaid’s Tale!! Praise be.
