There are 6 New Possible Symptoms Of The Coronavirus according to The CDC. Here’s what you need to know…

Many of us have heard that the Coronavirus is similar in symptoms to those of the flu but now, experts are finding more symptoms and wants everyone to be aware of them in case you should start showing any of these symptoms.

According to the CDC this week, 6 new possible symptoms of COVID-19 have been added. These include:

  • Fever
  • Chills
  • Repeated shaking with chills
  • Muscle pain
  • Headache
  • Sore throat
  • New loss of taste or smell

Previously, it was believed that the Coronavirus was classified with just these symptoms:

  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fever

Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus.

So, what does this mean? Well, it means that we are still constantly learning new things about this virus.

It also means that you still want to practice social distancing, good hand washing and staying away from those that are infected especially if you have an underlying condition.

If you do believe you are experiencing any of the symptoms, you can use the CDC’s online tool to help determine if you should be seen BEFORE you head to the hospital and risk exposing others.

But when in doubt, stay home and isolate yourself until you know for sure whether or not you have it.
