Bring the kids for the afternoon, not the late-night music
In its BoardWalk announcement, Disney describes hosted afternoon trivia and other family games. The setting is a seaside-theatre story, with a waterfront location along the BoardWalk.
That makes the afternoon activities and the evening entertainment two different reasons to visit. If the kids want trivia, plan around the daytime program. If you want a grown-ups’ music stop, make that a separate evening plan.
The surrounding promenade takes inspiration from coastal places such as Coney Island and Atlantic City. Hurly-Burly’s theatrical theme fits that setting; its elaborate old-theatre backstory is part of Disney’s storytelling.

The Caramel Corn Cold Brew combines Joffrey’s coffee, caramel sweet cream and caramel popcorn. Disney also lists it at the walk-up window. Prefer something without coffee? Overture in Orange is a frozen orange-juice drink topped with sweet cream.
