Krusteaz has a new plan for keeping phones away from the breakfast table, and pancake mix is part of the deal.
The limited-edition Krusteaz Pancake Pause Box is a lockable phone safe that comes with eight 32-ounce boxes of Krusteaz Buttermilk Complete Pancake Mix. According to the brand’s launch details, you can try to claim one for free starting Thursday, October 15, 2026, at noon ET.
The important part: this is a limited-quantity offer. Filling out the form doesn’t guarantee you’ll get a box.
A breakfast break for your phone
To use it, put your phones inside and turn the knob until hearts appear to lock the box, according to Krusteaz. The idea is to make more room for conversation over breakfast without a screen competing for your attention.
The box has blue-and-red stripes and a gold-colored knob. Even your phone gets a designated spot at breakfast.
The mix is the other half of the offer. Krusteaz calls the eight boxes a year’s supply, based on using one 32-ounce box every month and a half. How long it lasts in your kitchen will depend on how often you’re making pancakes.
How to try to get a Krusteaz Pancake Pause Box
The offer opens Thursday, October 15, at noon Eastern. That’s 11 a.m. Central, 10 a.m. Mountain and 9 a.m. Pacific.
When it opens, go to PancakePauseBox.com and fill out the form. Krusteaz says the boxes will be offered first come, first served while limited quantities last.
The announcement doesn’t spell out shipping costs or eligibility requirements, so check the promotion details on the site when the form opens before submitting your information.
