A holiday light walk is already a pretty good excuse to bundle up and go somewhere after dark. Add a little train rolling through the glowing displays, and now we have a whole situation.

LuminoCity Holiday Lights at Eisenhower Park is introducing Lumi Express, a new holiday train ride, for its 2026 season. The festival runs on select dates from November 11, 2026, through January 3, 2027, in East Meadow, New York.

A holiday train through the lights

The organizer describes the new ride as a way to see the illuminated landscape from another perspective. Its current event page says online RSVP details are coming soon, so check the ride information before choosing your date.

Important little booking detail: Lumi Express is listed as an add-on activity. Do not assume a general admission ticket includes the train. Check the available ride reservations and cost in the official booking flow.

There is a whole glowing world around it

LuminoCity’s official event page describes a 14-acre event with four areas: Magical Wonderwood, Dino Safari, Holidayville and Tundra Twilight. There are more than 100 glowing and animatronic creatures, a 40-foot Christmas tree, holiday inflatables and Santa pop-ups on select weekends.

That makes this more than a quick look at one decorated tree. You have a walk-through light outing to plan around, with the train as an extra if it fits your family’s night.
