I need you to understand that this was not a tiny shade difference. I ordered pink. The paddleboard that came out of the box was neon green, yellow, and orange.
What I ordered versus what arrived
The Temu listing showed a pink inflatable paddleboard priced at $118.85. That was the board I expected to open.
Instead, the first thing I saw in the box was bright green.
There was no squinting at it and pretending it was blush or coral. It was green. Extremely green.
Here is the part I did not expect
I inflated it, took it out on the water, and discovered that I actually like the board.
That does not make the color substitution okay. The item delivered did not match the color shown in the listing I ordered. But in my actual use, the board has been functional and fun. Both things can be true at the same time.
So my honest verdict is: wrong color, surprisingly good experience on the water.
Do I still wish it were pink?
Yes. Obviously. I ordered the pink one because I wanted the pink one.
But the lime-green situation has grown on me. The bright deck is easy to spot, the colors are kind of hilarious, and I have genuinely enjoyed using it.
Would I call this a Temu paddleboard review?
This is a review of my specific order and my experience, not a promise about every paddleboard or every Temu seller. I can confirm what I ordered, what arrived, and that I have used this particular board on the water and liked it.
I cannot turn one purchase into a claim about long-term durability or the safety of other boards. If you use any paddleboard, inspect it before launching, follow the manufacturer’s inflation and use instructions, check the weather and local rules, and use appropriate water-safety gear, including a properly fitted personal flotation device.
The final verdict
Temu sent me the wrong color. I wanted pink and got neon green. I am still annoyed about the pink part.
And yet: it works for me, I have had it out on the water, and I like it. This may be the most reluctant five-star color disaster I have ever owned.
