Silver Bells at Christmas arrives on Great American Pure Flix on Thursday, October 15, 2026, giving subscribers a two-day head start on its Great American Family premiere.

The movie, starring Laura Osnes, Ryan McPartlin and Chuck Wicks, follows a woman trying to save her late mother’s Christmas shop while sorting out a rather complicated love life. Saving the shop sounds like enough of a project. Naturally, there are feelings involved, too.

What is ‘Silver Bells at Christmas’ about?

According to Great American Family’s synopsis, Osnes plays Ginny Nolan, whose family shop, Silver Bells, needs repairs she may not be able to afford. McPartlin plays Nick Day, a potential buyer whose plans for the business put him at odds with Ginny, even as the two are drawn to each other.

Then Tyler Benton, played by Wicks, comes back to town for a Christmas songwriting showcase. He’s Ginny’s former musical partner and an almost-first-love, so his return gives her another reason to reconsider what she wants next.

The cast also includes Julia Reilly, Tanya Christiansen, Taylor Kalupa and D.B. Sweeney.

When and where can you watch?

Here are the two premiere dates on the official schedule:

  • Thursday, October 15, 2026: Great American Pure Flix. The posted schedule gives a streaming date but does not specify a release hour.
  • Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 8 p.m. Eastern / 7 p.m. Central: Great American Family and GFAM+.

If you watch Great American Family through a TV provider, check that your package includes the channel. The network’s channel finder can help you find it.

For streaming, pay attention to which subscription you have. Pure Flix is an on-demand service, while GFAM+ offers a live channel feed. Each requires its own active subscription, even if you use the same account login for both.

A Pure Flix subscription is the option for the October 15 streaming premiere. GFAM+ subscribers can watch the scheduled October 17 airing. You don’t need both subscriptions to choose one of those options.
