These three Favorite Day toppings are all in 13-ounce cans, but the labels matter. Two are cold foams for drinks; the third is a whipped dairy topping that Target also suggests for desserts. Here is how to tell them apart before adding one to your coffee setup.
Caramel Apple Crisp cold foam
The Caramel Apple Crisp Cold Foam is the green-label can. Target describes it as a caramel-apple-crisp-flavored topping made with real pasteurized cream, with iced coffees, lattes and teas among its suggested uses.
This is the apple option if you want a break from pumpkin on your fall shopping list. Check the name on the can: Favorite Day sells several cold foam flavors, and a similar-looking container does not mean the same flavor.
Pumpkin Spice cold foam
The orange-label Pumpkin Spice Cold Foam is another 13-ounce can made with real cream. It is a returning seasonal product, rather than a brand-new 2026 launch.
Target’s product directions cover hot or iced coffee. If your goal is a pumpkin-flavored finish on a drink, this is the cold foam version to compare with the caramel apple option.
Pumpkin Spice whipped dairy topping
The Pumpkin Spice Whipped Dairy Topping is the can with a big swirl of topping on its label. It is also 13 ounces and made with real cream.
Target suggests this one for coffee, lattes, tea and hot chocolate, plus desserts such as ice cream, pie, cakes and cupcakes. That gives it a different shopping role if you want something for both a mug and a slice of dessert.
A few things to check before you buy
These are refrigerated dairy products, not shelf-stable coffee syrups. Follow the directions on the can you choose. The Pumpkin Spice Cold Foam listing specifically says to keep it below 40°F, avoid freezing, shake gently three or four times, and invert the can fully to dispense. Rinse its nozzle after use and return it to the refrigerator.
