85°C Bakery Cafe has a $3 mini mug ornament, complete with a tiny handle and a holiday scene. The coffee cup has made it onto the Christmas tree. Honestly, it was only a matter of time.
The blue-and-white design has snowy dots, green trees, a little house and a Santa-hatted character holding a red takeaway cup. There is a red interior, too. A whole coffee break, shrunk down to something you can hang from a branch.
You can buy just the ornament
According to 85°C’s official launch announcement, the ornament is $3 with no additional purchase required. You do not have to buy gift cards to get one.
That is the useful part if your holiday shopping list currently consists of “one tiny thing for the person who always has coffee.” Three dollars is a considerably smaller commitment than financing their next several bakery visits.
The gift-card offer has specific rules
If you were already planning to give 85°C gift cards, the brand says you can get one ornament for every $30 spent on eligible physical gift cards in-store.
E-gift cards and online orders are excluded. Food and beverage purchases do not count toward that $30 minimum, and you cannot use an e-gift card to buy the physical gift cards for this offer.
So a pile of pastries and a drink will not unlock the ornament. They may be a perfectly good bakery trip, but they are a different transaction.
Check your location before making the trip
In its October 21 announcement shared with Totally The Bomb, 85°C’s PR representative gives November 20 as the promotion’s end date. The brand’s public post says participation may vary by location and quantities are limited. That is not a guarantee your nearby cafe still has one.
Use the official 85°C website to find a location and check locally before going specifically for the ornament.
The tree gets the tiny mug. The full-size coffee is still your responsibility.
