Firehouse Subs has a golden retriever, a Dalmatian and a German shepherd joining the menu. Nobody panic. They’re plushies.

Firehouse announced an October 28, 2026 launch for the K-9 Crew collection at participating U.S. restaurants for $9.95 each plus applicable tax, while supplies last. Each pup is modeled after a real working dog, and part of every sale supports the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation.

There is one important catch for anyone who usually orders from the couch: you have to buy the plushies in person.

Meet Stone, Ember and Echo

In its October 21 announcement, Firehouse introduces the three dogs behind the collection:

  • Stone, the golden retriever: A search-and-rescue dog who has responded to major disasters, including the Surfside condominium collapse.
  • Ember, the Dalmatian: A fire-safety education ambassador with the Sevierville Fire Department in Tennessee.
  • Echo, the German shepherd: A police K-9 with the Sartell Police Department in Minnesota. Echo joined the department in 2023 through a foundation grant.

The official collection photo shows floppy-eared Stone, spotted Ember and upright-eared Echo wearing little Firehouse bandanas.

Where can you buy the Firehouse dog plushies?

The October 28 launch is for participating U.S. restaurants only. The plushies will not be available through Firehouse Rewards digital orders or third-party delivery apps.

One timing wrinkle: the dated October 21 announcement says October 28, but the live campaign page currently says “available now.” We have not verified early availability at individual restaurants, so call your location before heading over.

The announcement gives no fixed end date for the collection, and availability is limited to supplies on hand. A national announcement does not tell you which dog your local store will have.

How much of the price is donated?

Firehouse says 100% of the plushies’ net profits will benefit the foundation. Its fine print puts that at $6.16 per plushie, excluding taxes, rather than the full $9.95 retail price.

There’s also a separate Hook & Ladder fundraiser on October 28. The purchase price of the sub, excluding taxes, combos, upsizes and add-ons, will benefit the foundation. That offer works in restaurants and through Firehouse’s app and website, but excludes catering and third-party delivery.

So the sandwich fundraiser can be a digital order. The little dog coming home with you requires a restaurant visit.
