Somebody at ALDI decided the cat needed Halloween decor too, and I am honestly more interested in this than another bowl shaped like a pumpkin.
ALDI lists a ghost cat scratching house for $6.99 in its September 30 Finds. It is a little cardboard hideout with a scratching surface, dressed up as a ghost. There is also a Dracula version at the same listed price, plus a version ALDI calls simply “House.”
When can you get the ghost cat house?
The ghost listing says available from September 30, 2026. ALDI’s upcoming Finds page covers September 30 through October 6. That is the date to put on the calendar; it is not a promise that every store will still have one when you get there.
The online listing is showing $6.99 for one house in the selected store view. ALDI notes that item pricing and availability can vary, so check your local listing before making a special trip. I also would not assume that a tiny product photo tells us how much cat will fit inside. If you live with a large, opinionated cat, check the box dimensions in store.
Which one would your cat choose?
Ghost is my vote for the doorway situation alone. Dracula is for the cat who already acts like you are a guest in their castle. Either way, this is an easy way to give the cat something to scratch while the humans are busy buying ghost-shaped serving boards for themselves.
