Regé-Jean Page Is Not Returning for Season 2 of ‘Bridgerton’ and I’m Not Okay

Seriously?! What? Why? PLLLLLEASE tell me this is a delayed April Fool’s Joke…

News just broke that Regé-Jean Page Aka The Duke of Hastings is NOT Returning for Season 2 of Bridgerton.

While season 2 shifts its focus to the eldest Bridgerton as Anthony begins his quest to find love, Regé-Jean Page’s departure is shocking because he is still apart of the story.

Now, you might be wondering why and well, it’s a bit of a lengthy explanation which you can read here.

But to sum it up, it’s because the series is based off the book series and The Duke of Hastings is really only in the first book.

The news broke when the announcement was made via Twitter from the Ton’s gossip maven. The message reads:

“While all eyes turn to Lord Anthony Bridgerton’s quest to find a Viscountess, we bid adieu to Rege-Jean Page, who so triumphantly played the Duke of Hastings. We’ll miss Simon’s presence onscreen, but he will always be a part of the Bridgerton family,” the message reads.
“Daphne will remain a devoted wife and sister, helping her brother navigate the upcoming social season and what it has to offer — more intrigue and romance than my readers may be able to bear.”

Well, I am seriously considering it.

Everyone loved him and his character so much. I just have to hope they will make some sort of spin-off series with him and Daphne. I mean, I know we’d all watch it, right?

Now you can claim a max of 4 boxes of each kind without showing any sort of proof of purchase.

Once you get to the next page, submit your PayPal, Venmo or debit card information and the money will be direct deposited to that account once your claim is approved!

Yet again, there is another stupid and horrible TikTok challenge going around and this one is mega dangerous and scary.

The TikTok Challenge is called ‘Blackout Challenge’ or ‘Pass Out Challenge’ and it encourages kids to self-asphyxiate.

Now, this was going around last year but it has resurfaced and is making rounds once again.

Yes, this is real and yes this is just completely awful.

While this challenge started going around about a year ago, it is still happening right now.

On Jan. 21, 2021, Doctors in Italy have declared a 10-year-old girl brain dead after she tied a belt around her neck to self-asphyxiate as part of this challenge.

And more recently, as in March 2021, another young boy has ended up in the hospital because of it. A family friend shared to The Denver Channel, “I can’t even describe the grief and the devastation. Nobody could ever imagine this would happen to a 12-year-old.”

My heart just breaks for these families. I can’t even imagine especially since I have a 10-year-old son. I just can’t imagine!!

Kids are doing this so they “pass out” but the prolonged lack of oxygen to their brain is causing all sorts of damage.

In fact, doctors are warning and want parents to know that doing this is incredibly dangerous and can lead to seizures, brain damage, and death.

The good news is, TikTok seems to be taking down the videos but it isn’t enough.

Parents, we have to talk to our kids and express how stupid and dangerous this is. And how dangerous any of these challenges are.

We have to protect our babies. My heart hurts right now and I hope no other child gets hurt from this challenge.
Looks Like Joe Exotic Is Back On The Market Because He and His Husband Dillon Passage Are Divorcing

Remember Joe Exotic? Well, he is just about to be single and ready to mingle.

It seems like it’s been a bit since we’ve heard from this bleach blonde tiger dude that is currently in prison for hiring a hit man to murder Carole Baskin.

But now, he is making headlines once again because word is, Joe Exotic and his husband Dillon Passage are divorcing.

The announcement came via Dillon when he posted on Instagram saying:

“To answer the main question the public wants to know, yes, Joe and I are seeking a divorce. This wasn’t an easy decision to make but Joe and I both understand that this situation isn’t fair to either of us. It’s something that neither of us were expecting but we are going to take it day by day. We are on good terms still and I hope it can stay that way. I will continue to have Joe in my life and do my best to support him while he undergoes further legal battles to better his situation.”

I have to say, I always found their relationship weird. Like, Dillon just seems to take a lot of overly friendly pictures with women.

In fact, as of right now, Dillon Passage no longer has any images of him and Joe on his Instagram even though he claims they are on good terms despite the divorce. Weird, right?

Nonetheless, I hope they find happiness in the future because it doesn’t matter who you are, divorce sucks.

I grew up reading the books and loved the movies and a few months back I had my kids watch the movies in order and they loved them.

I am glad I did it before this happened because now if you want to watch them, you will have to either rent or buy the movies (if you don’t own them already).

Well, the movies have been moved to cable networks like FX and Syfy.

According to Screen Rant, NBCUniversal has the rights to the movies until the end of 2021 and they made the decision to move forward with removing the HP movies off streaming services.

So, for now, just stick to rent or buying them from places such as Amazon.

PSA: Pregnancy Is NOT An April Fool’s Joke

April 1st also known as April Fool’s Day is almost here and it’s the day everyone unleashes their best and funniest pranks on their friends and family.

While it’s a day of fun and laughter for many, for others, it’s a very sensitive and upsetting day.

Why? Because some people actually think it’s funny to fake being pregnant but here’s a little PSA… it’s not.

Let me say it louder for the people in the back…

FAKING BEING PREGNANT IS NOT FUNNY.

Not today on April Fool’s Day.

Not ever.

While you may think you are just faking out your significant other on a harmless joke, it’s far from harmless.

In fact, for the millions of women who may see that fake pregnancy announcement via social media, it’s a hurtful reminder of a tragic event they have experienced in their life.

There are 6 million women in the U.S. alone that struggle with fertility.

When we were last in Gilead, June, the Marthas, and the handmaids had just gotten about 100 kids out of the country, and into Canada via airplane.

June had been shot, and the handmaids had found her, and were carrying her to — somewhere. We don’t know exactly where they were taking her yet.

It looks like both Fred and Serena have been arrested in Canada, they have us thinking Nick might be a bad guy — I’ll never believe it — and Commander Lawrence has stayed behind, to finish what he had started, and to face his fate.

“These women deserve to be helped, but I can’t do this alone,” June says in the trailer for Season 4.

Is the rebellion truly starting? I’m too excited. I’m on pins and needles — and we don’t have to wait too much longer to see what happens. GAH!!
