    Toys R Us Is Planning To Open Stores Again in The U.S. This Year and I’m Freaking Out

    OMG!! I am so excited! Especially for kids everywhere!!

    Toys R Us is coming back!! It is about time we have a kid’s toy store back!!

    Toys R Us’s New Owner Is Planning To Open Stores Again in The U.S. and the kid in me is freaking out!!

    It was announced yesterday that the Brand management company WHP Global announced it has acquired a controlling interest in Tru Kids, the parent company of the Toys R Us and Babies R Us brands.

    “We’re in the brand business, and Toys R Us is the single most credible, trusted and beloved toy brand in the world,” Yehuda Shmidman, chairman and chief executive officer of WHP, said in an interview. “We’re coming off a year where toys are just on fire. … And for Toys R Us, the U.S. is really a blank canvas.”

    Tru Kids bought the brands and intellectual property from Toys R Us after it filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in September 2017.

    WHP plans to open a number of Toys R Us stores again in the U.S., ideally ahead of this holiday season.

    That means that as of the holiday season 2021, we could see Toys R Us stores back and ready for us to shop our little hearts out.

    In North America, the plan is to open Toys R Us stores, again and these stores could come in various formats such as: flagships, pop-ups, airport locations or mini stores inside other retailers’ shops. WHP hasn’t yet set a number for how many locations it plans to open in the U.S.

    “There are so many malls that will no longer be in the future, so we don’t need to be there,” Shmidman said. “But we could be in malls that do have traffic. … So we really have an opportunity not just to capture that experience for toys that people are yearning for, but also capture where [people] want to shop. That will be very interesting post-Covid.”

    I was just telling my husband a few days ago how I miss when we could take our kids to a toy store to shop so this makes me really happy.

    Now, the product is advertised to be used as a way to keep diseased trees from spreading to other trees but like the TikToker pointed out, it can actually seal freshly pruned trees and keep them from coming back.

    Even in the Amazon Q&A area, one user asks:

    “Will this keep the tree limbs from returning in the treated area after the tree has been pruned?”

    And the company responded with this answer:

    People are so smart and I don’t know what I’d do without TikTok at this point because I’ve learned so much over there.

    If you happen to have a key fob for your car, you know that the worst possible situation is when it dies. Like how will you start your car then?

    Especially when it comes to push to start engines, good luck starting your car if your key fob is dead (unless you have one that has a key inside it).

    Well, people have found a crazy cool hack. Apparently, People Are Finding Secret Compartments In Their Cars That Charge Their Key Fobs!!

    Apparently, if you open your glove compartment in your car and look on the left side, you’ll see a box that is the side of your key fob.

    It may be covered by a silicone mat but apparently, you just stick your key fob in there and it will allow you to start your car (and also charge your key fob).

    Keep in mind not all cars will have this feature and not all cars will charge the key fob (some will just let you start your car).

    But nonetheless, this is a cool trick and I had no idea cars even had this!

    Well, the other day I came across a video that explained That Starbucks Has A Hidden Feature In Their Logo and nobody has really noticed it until now.

    So, as everyone knows, the Starbucks logo is of the top half of a siren.

    However, have you ever actually looked closely at it? If you have, you likely noticed the small feature in the logo that makes it unique.

    Take a look at the logo below. See anything?

    Okay, now look closer in the eyes. Notice it yet?

    So, apparently, the Siren has a tiny line below the right eye that extends further than the line in the left eye. Now you can’t unsee it, right?

    Why did they do this?

    Well, apparently the first Starbucks logo was not handled well because it was way too perfect and asymmetrical. People couldn’t relate to it.

    So, Starbucks added that very tiny detail and the logo was officially born.

    Interesting, right?

    Now ever since I ever learned that, I can’t unsee it and I bet you won’t either!

    If you are not watching The Grammy’s right now then you just missed Cardi B’s performance of ‘WAP’.

    But let me just tell you – it’s probably just exactly like you’d expect.

    Very sexual. Minimal clothes. Lots of booty shaking. And of course, lots of censored lyrics.

    Honestly, the song was so edited (obviously needed to be) that I am not sure why she chose to perform that song but whatevs.

    So, yeah. I mean Cardi B looks amazing but I am glad my kids weren’t watching.

    Those outfits and all the booty shaking and tongue sticking out left little to the imagination if you know what I mean.

    I mean at one point Cardi B began using a stripper pole off a giant high heel.

    I will say, I admit what Cardi B has done for herself but I am not a huge fan of her.

    She can certainly dance but I guess I just don’t enjoy the overly sexualized performances.
