Simon & Schuster sent us a review copy of this book for editorial consideration. This is independent coverage.
If you own a Blackstone, there is a very good chance somebody in your house has already tried to turn breakfast, dinner, dessert, and possibly their entire personality into something that can be cooked on a flat-top.
So naturally, Blackstone now has an official cookbook.
Blackstone Griddle 101: The Official Cookbook comes out October 20, 2026, and Simon & Schuster says it has more than 100 recipes from Blackstone’s own culinary team.
The Recipe List Gets Weird In The Best Way
The official PR materials include the kind of things that make me immediately want to flip through a cookbook:
- Pimento Cheese Smashburgers
- Bacon Banana French Toast
- Chimichurri Street Tacos
- Blackened Ribeye with Creamy Peppercorn Sauce
- Pineapple Upside Down Griddle Cakes
I am sorry, but Bacon Banana French Toast followed by Pineapple Upside Down Griddle Cakes is exactly the kind of griddle escalation I support.
The Blackstone Crew Is Behind It
The authors are Nathan Lippy, CJ Frazier, Todd Toven, Matthew Hussey — better known as The Hungry Hussey — and Desirée Ruberti, aka BlackstoneBetty.
Simon & Schuster says the book includes recipes along with expert tips and techniques from Blackstone’s culinary team, so this is meant to be more than a stack of meal ideas.
This Feels Like A Very Easy Holiday Gift For A Blackstone Person
I have the review copy in hand now, and the timing makes sense.
It comes out right in the middle of football season, fall cooking, and the beginning of holiday shopping — which is basically prime time for the person who has been standing outside in a hoodie making smash burgers since September.
The publisher lists the book at $28, with an October 20 release date.
Honestly, this may be one of those gifts where the recipient immediately starts planning what everybody else is going to eat.
Where To Get Blackstone Griddle 101
You can find Blackstone Griddle 101: The Official Cookbook on Simon & Schuster.
And yes, I am still stuck on the Bacon Banana French Toast because apparently breakfast has no rules anymore.
