Bob McGrath From ‘Sesame Street’ Has Died
One of the most beloved human characters from Sesame Street, Bob McGrath, has died.
The news came earlier today when Bob’s family posted on his personal Facebook page saying:
“Hello Facebook friends, the McGrath family has some sad news to share. Our father Bob McGrath, passed away today. He died peacefully at home, surrounded by his family
“

Bob McGrath is best known for being a recurring cast member of Sesame Street.
He made his first appearance when the show first aired in the ’60s and was featured in the pilot in 1969. He then went on to work in an additional 47 seasons.

Bob stopped acting on ‘Sesame Street’ in 2017 with his last episode being titled ‘Having a Ball.’

Aside from his acting, he also brought musical elements to the show too, with original songs like “People in Your Neighborhood,” “Sing a Song,” “If You’re Happy And You Know It” and even the ‘Sesame Street’ theme song.

Bob was 90 years old when he passed surrounded by loved ones.
If you grew up watching Sesame Street, chances are, you will miss Bob.
