Carnival’s New Cruise Bundles Have an October 30 Deadline. Do the Math First.

That $60 cruise extra adds up quickly when it is $60 per person, per day.

At Carnival’s listed rate, its new Social FunPack would cost two adults $840 for a seven-day cruise. That is the add-on package, not the cruise fare.

If you already have a Carnival sailing booked, there is a reason to pull up the actual numbers now. Carnival says its four new FunPacks are available to buy through October 30, 2026, for eligible cruises departing October 31, 2026, through December 31, 2027.

Start with the full-cruise price

These are bundled extras: drinks, internet and, depending on the package, dining, excursions and other perks. You buy the package for the entire sailing.

FunPack Listed daily price, per person Seven days, one person*
Kidstarter $25 $175
Zero Proof $50 $350
Social $60 $420
Epic $99 $693

*Illustrative calculations using the listed rates, not booking quotes. Social and Epic pricing is adjusted for Galveston, New York and Norfolk departures; alcoholic beverage benefits there begin at 6 a.m. on day two. Check your sailing’s total in My Cruise Manager.

Kidstarter is for ages 3–17 and includes soda and juice, Social Wi-Fi and arcade tokens. Zero Proof pairs nonalcoholic drinks with Value Wi-Fi and dining and excursion discounts. Social adds Premium Wi-Fi, the first three eligible alcoholic drinks daily (up to $20 each), one eligible dining experience worth up to $55 and one excursion worth up to $100. Epic includes 15 eligible alcoholic drinks daily (up to $20 each), two eligible dining experiences worth up to $55 each and two excursions worth up to $100 each, among other benefits. Social and Epic are for guests 21 and older.

Read these limits before switching anything

Carnival’s FAQ says adults 21 and older sharing a stateroom must buy the same FunPack if any adult buys one. Younger guests are not required to buy a package.

Purchase and applicable pre-cruise redemptions must happen at least three days before departure. You cannot wait until boarding to apply unused dining or excursion benefits.

Dining excludes The Chef’s Table and Bonsai Teppanyaki. Social and Epic dining benefits cannot be topped up for a pricier meal; excursion benefits can. Availability is not guaranteed, and unused benefits do not get a refund.

Already bought Essentials or Ultimate? It will not automatically become a FunPack. Switching requires canceling and repurchasing, which can also cancel reservations tied to the old package. Check availability before touching those bookings.

Price the drinks, internet and experiences you would actually purchase separately, then compare that total with the package bill for everyone required to buy it. A bigger bundle is not a bargain if half of it stays unused.
