As if 2020 wasn’t bad enough, they decided to make a disaster of a year even worse by NOT showing “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” on regular TV.

Apple TV+ became the sole home to the Peanuts gang, and the rest of the world was left crying in the pumpkin patch.

As you can imagine, this sparked a tidal wave of outrage and backlash.

How DARE they take our beloved holiday tradition away, after hooking us in WAY back in 1966. It has been shown on regular TV every year since — until 2020!!

ABC

Now, the Peanuts Powers The Be have heard our cries!! The beloved Halloween special, while it will still be available on Apple’s streaming platform, will also air on PBS this month! HALLELUJAH!!

And, “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” won’t be the only Peanuts special we have to look forward to! Wait for it — the “A Charlie Brown Christmas” will also be airing!!

“It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” will play on PBS and PBS Kids at 7:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, Oct. 24.

“A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” is set to drop on PBN at 7:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, Nov. 21.

“A Charlie Brown Christmas” — my personal favorite — will air at 7:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, Dec. 19 on both PBS and PBS Kids.

Things are looking up, friends. I mean sure, it’s not ABC, NBC, or CBS, but the shows are still accessible on regular television!

It’s going to be a Merry Holiday Season, indeed!!
