Chrissy Teigen Eats ‘Night Eggs’ To Help Her Get To Sleep, And I’m Intrigued

Night eggs? What the heck are night eggs?

Chrissy Teigen just nonchalantly put it out there on Twitter that she eats “night eggs,” and you’d think it’s the most normal thing ever.

Like, is everyone doing this, and I just don’t know about it?

I’m not sure if she is just being a bit extra, or if it’s the boogie pop culture star coming out in her, but I have never in my life eaten a “night egg.”

I don’t know. Maybe I should start doing it. LOL!! I mean, if Chrissy Teigen eats night eggs, and looks like — well — Crissy Teigen, maybe I should do it, too!!

So, according to Teigen, a “night egg” is two hard-boiled eggs that she peels and takes to bed with her every night.

She doesn’t just eat them before bed — she saves them for when she wakes up in the middle of the night.

Ew. Not sounding too good thus far.

I mean, the first thing I think of to binge in the middle of the night is NOT eggs, but I guess that’s why I’m me, and SHE is Chrissy Teigen. LOL!!

Now, I guess eggs make sense, because having some protein right before bed is supposed to help you sleep better. Apparently it helps “enhance your quality of sleep.”

I’m all for better sleep, but I just can’t imagine eating a cold, rubbery, hard-boiled egg in the middle of the night — especially one that’s been sitting there watching me sleep.

Can I try “night chocolate” instead? How about “night cake,” or even “night bowl of cereal?”

Yeah. I’ll leave the boogie night eggs to Teigen. I’ll stick with something a bit more tasty. LOL!!
