Cracker Barrel is known for their hearty mashed potatoes and crunchy chicken! If you have yet to visit a Cracker Barrel near you, I must say it is worth the drive.
Similar to other restaurants, Cracker Barrel is slowly re-opening their dining rooms across the country and they’re not just stopping at that.
The restaurant chain has a strategic plan in place to hopefully increase sales and bring in more customers to their dining rooms; as the future is unpredictable for Cracker Barrel considering everything that has happened since their closure.
CEO Sandra B. Cochran stated to Nation’s Restaurant News,
“I think everyone is having trouble predicting what’s going to happen.”
“The past several months have presented unprecedented challenges for Cracker Barrel, the industry and our country. I believe our strategic priorities, such as accelerating our off-premise business, combined with the rapid actions we took to bolster liquidity, strengthen our business model and adapt our operations to the circumstances have positioned us well for the recovery period to come, said Cochran in a statement to Nation’s Restaurant News.”CEO Sandra B. That being said, Cracker Barrel will be continuing their beer and wine tasting program that was already in the works before the pandemic.
The program is already launching in 20 locations and according to Restaurant Business Online, mimosas will be served in two different flavors, Strawberry and Orange. The Orange flavor is definitely calling my name!
Cracker Barrel has also added a few new meals to their menu that were also pre-planned before the virus. So, make sure to check out their store locator for the closest Cracker Barrel near you, so you can check out their improved menu and speciality drinks!
