I have 3 daughters, I even have a grandson. But coming across this gorgeous fairy dress has me wanting to have another baby! Well, that isn’t going to happen, but still…
There is hope though, because you can make this dress in all sizes! It just happens to be cutest on the little toddler girls!
The pattern can be made in the following approximate sizing:
Chest Size (around):
12-18 months: 20” / 51cm
2-3Y: 20-21” / 52-54cm
3-5Y: 21,5-23” / 55-58cm
6-8Y: 23-26” / 59-66cm
9-13Y: 27-31” / 68-79cm
XS/S: 32-35” / 81-89cm
M/L: 36-40” / 91-100cm
XL++: 42” / 107cm upwards
The pattern works from the top down in one piece. A cake of gradient yarn (2 or more for adult sizes), in either fingering, fine, sport or light DK weight is recommended. The gradient gives you that whimsical look!
Beautiful dress. The pattern is wonderfully written, very easy to understand, the instructions for sizing are clear, and it is easy to adjust. I loved working on it and will most likely make more.Regev Jöken – Etsy Reviewer
This fairy dress pattern is best great for intermediate and very confident beginner skill levels.
This dress was so much fun to make and I got it done just in time for my baby’s first Easter dress! The count was a little difficult you have to figure out the count yourself but other than that it was a lot of fun to makeKristin Walls – Etsy Reviewer
Some of the suggested yarns are Scheepjes Whirl, Cotton Kings Twirls Deluxe, Twirls or Hobbi Twister.
You can purchase the fairy dress pattern on Etsy and it is only $4.40! You can make all of the sizes listed above, so this is a bargain! I have included some videos below to help with the pattern as well.
