Woodstock has a new game-day job: sitting on top of the dip.
Dash’s Peanuts Slow Cooker Set pairs a 7-quart cooker with a smaller 2-quart one for $79.99. The little cooker has a sculpted Woodstock lid handle, while the big one gets a football-shaped knob. It’s an entire coordinated food setup, down to the tiny bird supervising it.
The artwork is very much in on the football joke. Charlie Brown and Lucy appear on the larger cooker, including Charlie Brown tumbling through the air. The smaller one features Snoopy and Woodstock in red football helmets, with faint comic strips covering the white background.
Lucy is still causing problems. At least dinner has its own equipment.
One for dinner, one for the dip
The size difference is the useful part here. Dash suggests the 7-quart cooker for family-size meals such as chili and roasts, and the 2-quart cooker for sides and dips. Each has its own dial with High, Low and Warm settings.
That gives you a way to serve the main dish and something alongside it without trying to make one oversized pot do both jobs. Think chili with a separate warm dip for a football-watch party, or a larger dinner with a small side dish. Those are serving ideas, of course; cooking times depend on the recipe.
Both come with removable stoneware pots and glass lids. Dash says those parts can go in the dishwasher.
Dash includes an instruction manual and recipe guide with the set. Read the setup and care directions before using either cooker.
Dash listed the set at $79.99 with an active Add to Cart button when checked. Look for model DSC50002, which includes both cookers. The Woodstock-topped one is part of that price, so there’s no separate little-pot purchase to track down.
