Disney made hot cocoa look like a potion kit, and I fear this is exactly how you get me to care about hot chocolate before it is even properly cold outside.
Cursed Cocoa is coming to Disney Parks for Halloween: a milk-chocolate cauldron filled with color-changing cocoa mix and mini marshmallows, plus a collectible mystery Disney Villain potion card.
The cauldron itself is chocolate
This is not just cocoa mix in themed packaging. Disney describes the product as a milk chocolate cauldron filled with the cocoa mix and marshmallows.
So at some point the potion vessel becomes part of the snack, which feels appropriately chaotic.
The cocoa changes color
Disney says the cocoa mix changes color, leaning all the way into the villain-potion situation. Each package also includes a mystery Villain potion card, so there is a collectible element too.
Disney says it is coming soon to the parks
Disney’s current Halloween merchandise guide lists Cursed Cocoa as coming soon to Disney Parks. The guide does not give one universal in-stock date for every location, so check current park merchandise availability before making a special trip for it.
The same Halloween guide includes other seasonal cocoa and candy items, but the little edible cauldron is absolutely the one that made me stop scrolling.
