Disney put barbecue burnt ends in the queso at The Diamond Horseshoe, and that is a fairly persuasive way to get our attention.

The Magic Kingdom spot has a limited-time pop-up menu built around shareable bites and specialty drinks. Disney’s announcement set its debut for October 4, 2026, in Liberty Square.

The queso comes with a barbecue upgrade

Queso Fundido with Barbecue Burnt Ends comes with warm tortilla chips. There are also corn fritters with red chili honey, sticky ribs, and pastry-wrapped mini hot dogs served with chips and queso.

That is enough cheese-related information to make choosing a plate difficult.

The root beer got dressed up, too

Disney’s Caramel Root Beer with Sweet Cream starts with Barq’s, adds caramel, and finishes with sweet cream. The nonalcoholic lineup also includes orange soda with vanilla and cream. Both sound entirely capable of distracting someone from the cocktail list.

Check the party-night detail before planning a stop

Disney says the pop-up will not operate during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, but it will be available during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

The official restaurant page also says valid park admission is required, a park reservation may be needed depending on your ticket, and dining-plan meals are not accepted.

Check Disney’s current menu and reservation availability before building your park day around the burnt-end queso. The launch announcement does not list prices or a closing date, and offerings can change.
