Disney’s S.E.A. mystery can be solved from home. The clues use Disneyland as their inspiration, but you do not need to be standing in the park to play along.
First, what exactly is S.E.A.?
The Society of Explorers and Adventurers is part of Disney’s fictional storytelling world. Its members include Mary Oceaneer, Dr. Albert Falls and Lord Henry Mystic. Think explorers, inventors, archives and elaborate backstories—not a real historical society.
Disney’s S.E.A. background guide introduces those characters and the supposedly long-unopened crate brought into the D23 story. That is useful context if the initials mean absolutely nothing to you yet. You can get oriented without pretending you already know every bit of Disney lore.

Begin with Disney’s official mystery page. The setup: the crate turned out to contain bricks and a note instead of the expected artifact. Each riddle points to a letter; unscrambling the letters is meant to reveal a new character’s name.
