Hearing Disney news is like Christmas morning, it’s always fun and exciting (at least most of the time) and this time around, we are taking the excitement to the sky!

Disney World Announced Opening Date for Their New Aerial Transportation and I couldn’t be more excited!

The Disney Skyliner is Disney’s new aerial transportation system is a state-of-the-art aerial gondola system, which will begin carrying visitors high above the resort and theme parks Sept. 29, 2019.

“Welcome to the dawn of a new era in Walt Disney World transportation.”

The Disney Skyliner will connect Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios to four resort hotels: Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and the new Disney’s Riviera Resort.

It’ll give visitors a bird’s eye view and easy-to-access transportation between the hotels and parks.

No more crazy and insane parking traffic to deal with! YAY!

Classic Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Goofy and Chip & Dale will be featured on the gondolas, along with some newer ones.

The “cabins” are wrapped in graphics featuring characters from such films as “Finding Dory,” “Lilo & Stitch”, “Monsters, Inc.” and “Ratatouille.”

I’m so excited to take a ride in the sky during my next Disney World vacation!
