My Dungeon Crawler Carl obsession now has a chocolate aisle. Maeve has an official collection with Carl’s Sweet Pota-toe Chips bar, Princess Donut’s Virgin Dirty Shirley bar, and a gift box that looks like it might eat you first.
The Station Mimic Gift Set puts both bars and a Benefactor Bonbon Box inside a bright yellow, toothy station-shaped package. It is $60. If you want the chocolate without the elaborate box, there is a cheaper way to put the same three treats together.
What’s in the Dungeon Crawler Carl chocolate collection?
The collaboration comes directly from Maeve and Matt Dinniman.
- Carl’s Sweet Pota-toe Chips bar, $8: milk chocolate with crunchy sweet potato chips. The bar is 2.4 ounces. The name is doing exactly what you think it is doing.
- Princess Donut’s Virgin Dirty Shirley bar, $8: dark chocolate, a white chocolate center, dried cherries and popping candy. This one is 2.5 ounces. The fizzy candy is a particularly good detail for a drink-inspired bar.
- Maeve’s Benefactor Bonbon Box, $23: a 5-ounce assortment of Champagne, Creme Brulee and Milk Chocolate bonbons.
Maeve also lists 12-count packages of either bar for $96. That works out to the same $8 per bar, so the larger pack is a quantity option, not a per-bar discount.
The Station Mimic box is the gift option, not the bargain bundle
The $60 set contains one Sweet Pota-toe Chips bar, one Virgin Dirty Shirley bar and the Benefactor Bonbon Box. Bought separately at their listed prices, those three items total $39 before tax and shipping.
That makes the gift set $21 more. You are paying extra for the Station Mimic presentation, not getting an extra stash of chocolate. For someone who wants the ridiculous toothy box on their shelf, that may be the whole point. For someone who mainly wants to try the flavors, start with an $8 bar or assemble the three items separately.
Check shipping before calling it an $8 treat
All four products were listed as available when checked, but availability can change. Maeve currently has a notice warning of order-processing delays, so this is not a last-minute gift with a promised arrival date.
Its shipping policy lists $11 standard shipping below $75 and free standard shipping at $75 or more, excluding Alaska and Hawaii. Weather and destination can require a more expensive shipping method; Maeve specifically lists priority-shipping requirements for Alaska, Hawaii, Arizona, Texas and Florida. Check the actual options for your address before ordering.
Maeve does not currently ship outside the United States, including Canada, or to P.O. Box, Highway Box or APO/FPO addresses. The products contain milk and soy; the gift-set page also notes production in a facility that processes peanuts, tree nuts, egg and wheat.

For the full box, go straight to the Station Mimic set. For a smaller commitment to this particular obsession, the cherry-and-popping-candy Donut bar is $8 before shipping. The cat got her own chocolate bar. Of course she did.
