I love smoothies especially for breakfast. They are easy to make and provide a filling breakfast to keep me full well into lunch time. Not to mention they are perfect for busy mornings when it seems to be nothing by go, go, go! If you feel like I do, you’ll want to make this Easy Dairy Free Berry Smoothie.
When I first made this I wasn’t sure how it would turn out simply because traditional smoothies call for yogurt or some sort of thickener. This actually turned out amazing. In fact, it was so good I got my picky 3 and 7 year-old boys to drink it too. I will call that a win any day!
What You’ll Need To Make an Easy Dairy-Free Berry Smoothie:
- 2 Cups Frozen Mixed Berries (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries)
- 1 Cup So Delicious Dairy Free Organic Almondmilk
- 1 Teaspoon Honey
- 1 Teaspoon agave nectar
- 1/2 Teaspoon Ground Flax Seed
- Ice cubes
How to Make an Easy Dairy Free Berry Smoothie:
- Open your bag of frozen berries and measure out 2 cups. Place into blender.
- Add your honey, agave nectar (if using), ground flax seed, and almondmilk.
- Now add your ice.
- Blend until smooth.
If you notice that your smoothie is too thick, you can add more almondmilk. If it ends up being to runny, add more ice.
