This Spooky Little Eyeless, Furless Cat Is Named Jasper And I Love Him
I happen to think hairless kitty cats are pretty cute! They somehow look like squishy little babies, and I just want to hold them, and make them purrrrr.
Take a look at THIS hairless kitty. Yes, you are looking at an eyeless, hairless cat, and he is just a little shocking at first — but he is totally adorbs, once you get past the initial shock of his devilish looks. Ha!
Meet Jasper. He isn’t a gargoyle, although he kinda looks like one, huh?
Jasper looks to me like he might be a Sphynx kitty — but I’m really not the best at my cat nameology (I made up that word).
You might recognize Jasper from Instagram, where he has nearly 68 THOUSAND followers *Gasp*. That’s more followers than my FAVORITE Instagrams dachshund, Moo!
Jasper was adopted at 2 years old, when he had both of his eyes, and was seemingly health. He developed feline herpes — which at the time just meant Jasper had a bit of the sniffles.
In 2013, he developed a corneal ulcer in his right eye, and it had to be removed. He was still a pretty healthy boy, he just had trouble in his eye.
In 2018, he ended up with a corneal ulcer in his left eye, and you know what that meant — it had to go.
So, now Jasper lives a happy, healthy life, but he just doesn’t have any hair nor does he have eyes, which makes him look like a little spooky gargoyle kitty.
I just want to cuddle him!!
According to a video that Kelli, his lucky owner, posted on TikTok, Jasper loves to get his eye sockets rubbed. She says they feel just like the rest of his fur-less body, there is just some scar tissue — which she thinks is why Jasper likes to have them rubbed.

Jasper has also had a stroke — about a year ago — but other than THAT, the vet has given him a clean bill of health, and says he just may live another 10 years.
