4.9 Million Bottles of Fabuloso Have Just Been Recalled. Here's What You Should Know.

Heads up, there’s been another recall.

Almost five million bottles of the popular cleaning product, Fabuloso multi-purpose cleaner have been voluntary recalled.

The recall comes after learning that the muti-purpose cleaners were missing a preservative that “was not added at the intended levels during manufacturing,” according to the company.

And because of the missing preservative, the growth of a Pseudomonas species which is a bacteria found in soil and water may have contaminated millions of bottles with the bacteria.

Individuals who have a weakened immune systems, external medical devices or underlying lung conditions are the most at risk according to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission website.

It was also noted that the bacteria can “enter the body if inhaled, through the eyes, or through a break in the skin.”

The bottles affected were manufactured between the dates of December 14, 2022 through the beginning of this year, January 23, 2023 and were stocked at multiple retailers such as Amazon and Walmart.

However, around 3.9 million bottles of the multi-purpose cleaner were never released for sale, the company also explained.

To find out if your bottle was recalled, the first eight digits of the lot code will be 2348US78 through 2365US78 and 3001US78 through 3023US7 according to the CPSC.
